01 — CAT Intelligence

Every exam has a pull.

The same chapters keep coming back in CAT. Every official paper is tagged by section, chapter and format, with difficulty where it is rated, so you can see where marks have usually come from and start there.

VARC

Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension

RC passages stay whole, so you practise them the way CAT sets them.

  • Reading comprehension
  • Para summary
  • Para jumbles
  • Odd sentence out
  • Para completion & sentence placement

DILR

Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning

Sets come as complete sets, not single questions pulled out of context.

  • Tables & caselets
  • Graphs & charts
  • Arrangements
  • Games & tournaments
  • Venn diagrams

QA

Quantitative Ability

Filter by MCQ or TITA. TITA has no negative marking, so it’s worth practising separately.

  • Arithmetic
  • Algebra
  • Geometry & mensuration
  • Number system
  • Modern maths

After every mock, see where the marks went

The analyser breaks your attempt down by section and chapter: what you attempted, what you got right, and which chapters cost you marks. That usually tells you more than the total.

Where it went wrong: in this sample, geometry had 1 correct out of 4 attempted. That's the chapter to practise before the next mock.

Sample numbers. Scoring: +3 correct, −1 wrong MCQ, no negative marking for TITA.

The AI Tutor explains a question step by step, and you can keep asking until it clicks. Questions you get wrong are saved to your Mistake Book, so revision starts from your own errors.

I picked C for this para summary. Why is it wrong?
C adds a cause the passage never states. The author only says the two trends happened together. Option B keeps that limit, so it’s the closer summary.
So I should check for new claims first?
Yes. Strike out any option that adds a claim, then compare what’s left for scope.

Prices are in Indian rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes. You pay once through Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking) and access lasts for the period shown. Nothing renews automatically. Buying the same plan again adds its days to the end of your current plan. Practice mocks are timed tests built from the question bank: custom (quick mocks and timed drills are custom), sectional or full-length. Free: 2 every 30 days (rolling), custom and sectional sharing them. Standard: 3 of each mode for every 60-day plan you buy; buying Standard again while it runs adds 3 more of each. Predictive mocks and past papers are not counted. Predictions and predictive mocks are estimates only. Past frequency does not predict the next paper. Full plan comparison · Refund policy

Common questions

Is the first mock actually free?
Yes. Predictive Mock 1 is a full-length CAT mock, and it’s free on every plan. You can start it without signing in. Sign in with Google if you want your attempt and analysis saved across devices.
Where do the questions come from?
PYQs come from official CAT papers. Each question is tagged by year, slot, section, chapter and format, with difficulty where it is rated, and those tags power the filters and the weightage view.
Will this tell me what’s coming in CAT this year?
No. It shows what has been asked before and how often. That helps you decide where to spend time, but it isn’t a prediction. Predictive mocks follow past patterns so practice feels realistic. They don’t contain this year’s questions.
What do I get without paying?
All PYQs (including timed past papers), the first full mock, a sample question bank (10 questions a chapter), 2 custom or sectional practice mocks every 30 days, all analytics tools, the Mistake Book, Study Planner and 3 AI Tutor questions a day.
Does the plan renew automatically?
No. Each paid plan is a single payment for 60 days of access. Nothing is charged after that. Buying the same plan again adds its days to the end of your current plan. Payments are final; the refund policy lists the exceptions, such as being charged twice.
Can ExamsOrbit guarantee a percentile?
No one can. Your percentile depends on your preparation, how the day goes and the paper itself. What we can do is make your practice better targeted.
